Musikfest Berlin To Focus on American Music

This year Musikfest Berlin will focus on American Music. The September festival features the German premiere of David Lang’s oratorio The Little Match Girl Passion with Rundfunkchor Berlin and the country premiere of Charles Ives’ newly edited Symphony No. 4 performed by conductor Ingo Metzmacher and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
